The perfect combination, by providing a tailor made holiday coupled with the professional, caring and involved approach which Jennie brings to the party.
She is meticulous in her planning, both before, during and after the holiday, sets out to make sure that the holiday is a success, and her style is to have fun, but to do it all safely and to fit in with needs of her client.
The net result is that the client has a great holiday; and the family concerned can relax in the knowledge that their loved one is being looked after at least as well as they would be at home.
Both we and our daughter are already planning the next holiday with Jennie!

I think that it is a really invaluable service that you provide, and I have seen first hand how much it means to Adam.

I have been a client of Jennie's company for a while. She has been my companion on three excursions I have made in the last few years. A recent trip to Duxford RAF Museum was a must, particularly as my late father was in the RAF for his entire career. It was an emotional trip, as one of the planes my father operated is hanging from the ceiling in one of the hangars. It was a special moment to see it up close. The second trip we embarked on was to go to Blackpool, as although I have visited many foreign countries, I haven't been on many English holidays. We had a lovely B&B which was located very near to the famous Tower. On this first trip to Blackpool it was near the end of the year so the weather was disappointing. Our two hosts Sharon and Doug made us feel very welcome. I have just returned from a third holiday organised through Jennie and her company. Again, we travelled to Blackpool. What made it different was the fact that we were visiting "in season", and the mode of transport was a bit different, as it was the first time travelling in an all-electric vehicle! The weather was much better this year, and we packed a great deal into our break. We visited the Pleasure Beach, and I went on a couple of rollercoasters (the first time in about 30 years!). We also visited a "House Of Terror" attraction, and also went right to the top viewing platform of the Tower. As with the first trip to Blackpool last year, the trip concluded with tea in the Tower Ballroom - if you want to see something "quintessentially English", its something I highly recommend! Taking a break, with Jennie as my companion, I highly recommend her company and the services she offers. Given the total nightmare of the past three years or so, it was comforting for me to have something positive and enjoyable to look forward to. Jennie has a friendly and warm persona and her professionalism is second to none. Thank you, Jennie
Adam
Jennie took care of a second trip to the forest of Dean where we stayed in a quaint hotel with it's own bar and restaurant area which we attended as well as sampling the local delicacies. We rambled through some beautiful areas such as a toured mine, castles and parks, one in which she joined me in abseiling on a particularly wet and slippery day. In this case she went as far as to find a local charity that is involved in these activities so she definitely put in the research to find things I would enjoy. Jennie is also a fantastic driver, handling the twisty windy lanes of the West with ease in any condition. Then at the end of the busy day we always cooled off with a gruelling game of rummikub to which she keeps score to which we have 1 holiday each so far so there will definitely be another one to decide a winner- for that year at least. On top of all this she takes note and plenty of photos to produce a lovely book of the holiday which is very detailed and brings back memories. Jennie is great company on a superb holiday that she arranges to your interests and abilities. I will be booking me next one soon (and not just because I need to win the Rummikub tournament again)

It was a pleasure to meet you and your lovely caring daughter, when you took my niece Mary Wragg to Ireland. What a joy to see my niece again, and looking so happy. I was very pleasantly surprised, to watch the interaction between the three of you. Not only were you attentive and caring, but you went out of your way create special memories for Mary. I know that you are also keeping an eye on her welfare and keeping her extended family informed. Very appreciated. You appeared more like friends than carers. I could see the way Mary interacted with you both. She never stopped smiling!

I am extremely grateful to Jennie for the kindness and professional care she has shown towards my brother Adam in providing him with two, much needed and thoroughly enjoyable excursions. The first was a day trip to the RAF museum at Duxford which enabled Jennie to build rapport and gain insight into my brother’s needs and wishes. This was an emotional journey for my brother as our late father spent the whole of his professional life in the RAF, and I was impressed at the sensitivity with which Jennie supported him and the skills she used in making this a happy and memorable trip. This was followed up by a 3 day trip to Blackpool, which was fun and varied and carefully tailored to Adam’s interests. It served as a refreshing tonic for Adam and a wonderful opportunity to escape from the challenges of living alone. He is looking forward enormouslyto his next short break with Jennie, and has chosen Blackpool again.Adam clearly enjoyed the feeling of security and companionship Jennie provided, and I felt wholly confident that his needs would be well met in her care.

This isn't the first time we've used Jennie's respite sevice, last year she took my Dad to Norfolk for a week and by the looks of the photos he had a great time. My Dad has deteriorated in the last 12 months and struggles to walk any distance so didn't have much hope of getting away with my young family this year, but after a chat with Jennie she has recommended staying at my house to care for my Dad!!!!!
I can't recommend Jennie highly enough! I got her number by chance from a manager at the Luton & Dunstable stroke unit and it's been a lifeline, as anyone who's ever cared for someone 24/7 knows it can be rewarding and fulfilling but alas also very tiring, I am married with 2 young boys and without the prospect of a family holiday to look forward to I don't think I could make it through the year. She comes highly qualified, with a caring and professional attitude. I can relax and enjoy my holiday in the full knowledge my Dad is in good hands!

I would like to say a very big thank you for arranging the recent holiday to Snowdonia for my client. After talking to him about what his interests and expectations were, you were able to give him various options about what he could do while away without him being overloaded. He had a wonderful time and really enjoyed the zip wire experience and rock climbing wall. The whole thing was very well planned and organised and my client had very precise instructions on getting to the meeting point so that you could complete the journey to the final destination together. I will definitely use your service again and recommend your company to my colleagues.

On the first trip to Llandudno Jennie drove me to a very amenable hotel located within close range of different enjoyable activities she had arranged for me. These ranged from rock climbing to zip lining down a magnificent valley and a visit to a driving range. Jennie is very versatile and joined me on the rugged path on the holidays We went up Snowdon on our first trip and managed the large lake we had to circle afterwards and even driving us to a well-deserved pint of peanut ale afterwards. In between she found some great restaurants.
At the end of the busy day we always cooled off with a gruelling game of Rummikub to which Jennie keeps score. Moreover, she makes a mental note and takes plenty of photos to produce a lovely book of the holiday which is very detailed and brings back the memories.
Jennie is great company, and she arranges a superb holiday taking into consideration ones interests and abilities. I will be booking the next one soon. Tom Stevens Holidaymaker Brighton June 2022
"I have just got back from a great 3 days in the Bournemouth area with Jennie (founder and owner of The Brain Injury Holiday Company )This was my first holiday since my trauma in February 2020. Jennie did all the planning and organising including transportation, booking the accommodation, trips out, wonderful coffee and cake stops and shopping. A welcome break from what can be a hum drum life living on my own. Jennie certainly brought a new lease of life to me for those 3 days and I want to repeat the experience with another break in the future. Nothing was too much for Jennie and I was made to feel special by a professional carer."
